In my class , all the pupils have a cell phone. They use it to send messages and to acces the internet. But they don't use it a lot to make phone calls.

In fact the main use of their smartphone is to send text mesages , which explains that pupils send an average of 100 and 200 messages per day. All of them got their phone at the age of 12 or 13 years old. They also use it to listen to music or play games during class breaks and when they are on their way to school.  Last but not least half of the tennagers update their facebook wall via their smartphone.

Last week, we made a survey about cell phones. Figures are very revealing! All teenagers of 15 and 16-years-old have a mobile phone, and almost all stmartphones. 98% often use their cell phones. Most of the students had their firset phone when they were 11 ! A minority of teenagers make phone calls, they prefer sending text messages (TM). Lots of them listen to music. Also, they can access the Internet. The most impressive figures are the number of applications : 60 ! It's amazing ! That's why students couldn't live without it ...

Actually, we can see the majority of teenagers has a cell phone.More others a cell phone with a camera and a mp3. they often use their cell phone to send text messages to their friends, they don't make phone calls ! They also use heir cell phone to access the Internet , Facebook, Youtube, etc... I have noticed that the most famous brand is Apple. Two third of teenagers have an Iphone or an Ipod because now you can send text messages with an Ipod ! But only to Iphones and Ipads. Finally I asked the teenagers how old they were when they had their cell phone and they were 10 or 11 years and they use their cell phone EVERY DAY !
